Terms of Service

Giga Ride is a technology platform that connects independent drivers with passengers seeking transport. Pickpadi Global Ltd is not a transport carrier and does not employ drivers. Drivers operate as independent contractors responsible for their own vehicles, licensing, insurance and tax obligations.

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate registration information. Drivers must additionally hold a valid Nigerian driver's licence, valid vehicle papers and insurance, and must pass Giga Ride KYC verification and the 5-Point Hub inspection. You are responsible for all activity on your account and must keep your credentials secure.

• A passenger initiates a trip by proposing a fare for a defined pickup and drop-off.
• Drivers may accept the proposed fare or submit a counter-bid. Bids are binding offers while they remain visible in the app.
• When a passenger accepts a bid, a binding transport agreement is formed between the passenger and that driver at the agreed fare.
• The agreed fare is fixed. Adjustments apply only where the passenger changes the destination, adds stops, or where lawful tolls, parking or waiting-time charges arise.
• Bid manipulation, collusion, off-platform fare renegotiation and repeated bad-faith bidding are prohibited and may result in suspension.

Either party may cancel before pickup. A cancellation fee may apply where a passenger cancels after the driver has substantially travelled to the pickup point, or where the passenger fails to appear within the waiting window shown in the app. Drivers who cancel accepted trips excessively may lose dispatch priority or be suspended. Cancellation fees are charged to the passenger wallet or payment method and remitted to the driver.

Drivers access the platform through Daily, Weekly or Monthly subscription plans. Giga Ride charges no per-trip commission: 100% of the agreed fare is credited to the driver, subject to payment processor charges applied by Paystack or Korapay on withdrawals. Subscriptions are prepaid, activate immediately, and are non-refundable once a plan period has started except where required by law. Plan pricing may change with at least 14 days' in-app notice. An expired subscription simply removes access to new ride dispatch; it does not affect wallet balances already earned.

Passengers may pay by card, bank transfer, dedicated virtual NUBAN account or in-app wallet. Driver earnings are credited to the driver wallet and may be withdrawn to a verified Nigerian bank account. We may hold or reverse funds where fraud, chargebacks or disputed trips are under investigation.

All users must behave lawfully and respectfully. Prohibited conduct includes harassment, discrimination, violence or threats, impersonation, carrying illegal items, driving under the influence, allowing an unregistered person to drive on your account, tampering with the app, and any activity that endangers another user. Breaches may result in immediate and permanent removal from the platform and referral to law enforcement.

Drivers must maintain their vehicle in roadworthy condition at all times, present it for scheduled Giga Hub re-inspection, and immediately stop accepting rides if the vehicle becomes unsafe. Failing an inspection suspends dispatch access until the vehicle passes a re-check.

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Pickpadi Global Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform, the conduct of any driver or passenger, or the condition of any vehicle. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the total fees you paid to Giga Ride in the three months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, suspected fraud, safety risk, or where required by law. You may stop using Giga Ride at any time and delete your account from Profile → Delete Account in the app.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall first be raised with our support team in good faith; unresolved disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
